Here at The Refuge Center, we hear hope every day. The relieved exhale of a mother who no longer feels alone. The soft coo of a newborn whose life was protected. The thankful smile of a father who needed someone to believe in him.

A Year of Faithful Expansion- Executive Director Reflection

As I complete my first year serving as Executive Director, I am overwhelmed — not by a title, but by the unmistakable ways the Lord has shown up again and again.

This year brought growth, stretching, and new responsibilities. Together, we:

strengthened programs
expanded outreach
served more families
deepened relationships within our community

But what stands out most is how faithfully the Lord provided each step of the way.

My own journey — from client, to volunteer, to Client Services Director, and now Executive Director — is a testimony to His gentle preparation and perfect timing.

As we move into a new year, I do so with confidence in the One who has already proven Himself faithful.
